Folkestone Harbour Arm
Over the last 3 years, Reid’s Building and Carpentry have played a massive role in the redevelopment of Folkestone Harbour Arm.
We’ve carried out a huge list of works on the arm from overseeing the installation of new steels to the creation of unique catering stalls for various outlets.
Here are some pictures of our work on the Folkestone Harbour Arm. The work was carried out sympathetically, refurbishing and replacing the existing doors, door frames and box frame windows in the waiting rooms and light house which were used to house troops during world war one before being shipped to the continent. We also kitted out the food outlets with wooden counters clad with copper.
Converted Cattle Wagons
We were enlisted to convert disused cattle wagons into seating areas on the Harbour Arm. We installed large double glazed windows and doors with hard wood frames in keeping with the traditional look.
The Food Outlets
We’ve completed work on most of the different food outlets that call the Harbour Arm home, including The Waiting Room, Bathtub and Gun, Baba Ji, Follies and Pick Up Pintxos. This included fitting new doors and windows for the entire corridor, alongside new counters including large amounts of copper work.
